Your Coach - Thomas Brandt
Since almost 20 years I'm working in the advanced training, counseling and management.
As a system analyst and data processing organizer I decided in 1995 to change to the management consultancy as a specialist. At that time a friendly manager in an advertising agency said "Thomas Brandt switched from artificial intelligence to human".
Despite this change, the information technology industry has always remained a focus of my work.
That's when I learned the first steps in the areas of management development and coaching. Projects were e.g. developing a culture of leadership for young engineers at SKF, team development at Panasonic, amongst others of course as an "apprentice" with my mentor. I learned psychological basics and presentation techniques. Additional I did advanced trainings in conflict management, communication and others.
After participating in an outdoor training in a Swedish national park I organized in 1996 outdoor trainings together with a friendly psychologist. The topics that we worked on in this inspiring environment were personal development, team development, information and communication. From this experience the belief that our value system can be arranged fastest in the nature has remained to this day.
Trainings as a coach and change manager followed. As an independent consultant I accompanied projects in the areas of sales development and project team development.
Further projects since then were:
- business development for a software company in the dental industry
- sales development for a software company in the field of content management systems
- business development and interim management of a resort on Bali
- business development for an IT-provider with the consulting focus on marketing and sales
